All models of what we now call the Landrover Defender ( 90 / 110 / 127) are serviced to manufactures standards, from 1983 to 2013.
Over the years the intervals have changed for each new Landrover Defender model:
We recommend that 83 to 91 (2.5P/2.5D/2.5 Turbo/ V8) are serviced every 6,000 miles. 91 to 05 (Tdi/Td5) every 12,000 miles. 07 to present (puma Tdci) every 15,000 miles. Every model should be serviced yearly regardless of mileage.
Cam belts on Landrover 2.5Turbo/Tdi 200/Tdi 300 should be changed every 72,000 miles or 6years
